Hi. You SHOULD try to grow out your hair-- maybe a cute shoulder length number would be a nice cross between short and managable and professional, while still being long enough to pull back. And in my defense, you were wearing your hair really long, parted down the middle, and just sort of hanging there, ala Alanis (who, by the way, I mentioned in one of my classes today. Weird, no?). It wasn't the best look for you, but you were nowhere near a heinous beast I'm scared you may have internalized due to my somewhat insensitive remark. Sorry. And believe me, it's a far worse look when I with my pumpkin head cut my hair short. I look like a basketball. It ain't pretty. Love you!

For the record, I think you could grow your hair out and look nice. I never thought of you looking like Alanis. But, you're right, its no fun growing it out- you have to live through shaggy, "dutch-boy" and all the other horrid stages.
