Chicago peeps: Word is that the next Batman movie will be filming here for 80 days this summer. Who's stalking the set with me? Anyone? Anyone?

xica_s is all "GO BEARS!" Between her and the city getting all decked out, I'm getting more and more excited about the game this weekend. Some people in Chicago are Cubs fans. Others are Sox fans. And then there are Bears fans. Awwwww yeah. So in celebration of what seems like the whole city getting decked out in orange and blue, I made icons. Probably no one but me and xica will want them, but there they are.

And how awesome is this picture? HA!!! Sorry to any Colts fans, but... HA!!! And look, a bear with a football! Awwwwwww.

You know, if the Superbowl outcome were based on mascot vs. mascot in a cage match of DOOOOOOM, the Bears would win in an instant. Just look at the claws! Awwwww yeah. Now, if the Bears were playing the Lions or the Bengals, it'd be a different story. But bears trump horses any day of the week. Especially baby horses. Heh.

I lived most of my life in The Region, making me a not-so-honorary Chicagoan. I now live a stone's throw from Indy. People seem to think I should have an opinion on this game.

When asked who I'm rooting for, I just say that pitchers and catchers report to spring training on the 14th. ;-)

Heh. See, I'm the exact opposite of you. When asked if I'm a Cubs fan or a Sox fan, I tell people I don't like either and frankly hate baseball.

But football I've always loved (it's the only sport I was ever GOOD at), and the Bears are always thought of fondly, even at their worst. And now that they're at their best, it makes me all happy.
