Many, MANY thanks to the gals who showed up yesterday to help me pack: deeablo, fava_bean, fishdoctorpost, aj, and Jenni. I don't know how I could have gotten anything done without your help.

And now I'm back at the apartment, ready to pack up more stuff. God, I have so much stuff!

Also annoying me is that I put an ad on Craigslist last week asking for people to come and take my sofa away. This one woman was all "Oh, I want!" but now she's nowhere to be found. I sent her another e-mail yesterday saying that if I don't hear back from her by tonight, the buck is passing to the next guy in line. Whatever!

Finally, my friend Karen is in town to run the Chicago Marathon. I've been trying to get online to see if I can track her. This morning when I last checked she was at the 5K mark. But now I guess too many people are logging on to the site and I can't get any results. Poo. Anyway, it's nice to see Karen again. The end.
