This morning was crappy. Just a few blocks from the train station, we got pulled over. The cop gave us a $75 ticket for tinted windows. BAH! Couldn't he do something more important with his time, like catch people breaking REAL laws or whatever? So annoying. Just what's needed right before the holidays. So then we had to catch a later train, which meant I got to work a half hour late. No one here cared, but still. So now I'm totally wearing my crankypants.

In an effort to cheer myself up, I bring you today's holiday-themed video.

Seriously, the first time I saw this I almost wet myself laughing. This was years before Friends stole the joke, though Monica adding the fez, giant glasses, and doing the shimmy brings it to a whole new level.

I never understood tinted windows. If they're against the law and you know you're going to get a ticket then why have them? I'm not trying to be an ass, I seriously don't understand.

Beats me. All I know is, if they're illegal for Illinois residents to OWN a car like that, then it should be illegal to SELL the car to Illinois residents. Go ahead and sell them to the cheeseheads and Hoosiers, sure. But it just seems like they should either cut off the tinted windows at the dealership or make sure the buyer is notified when they buy the car. Otherwise, it just seems like a law created to trick carbuyers into getting tickets.
