Today is my last day at work until New Year's Eve. Yes, I'm working on NYE, because I ran out of vacation days. But that's okay, that day should be a cakewalk at the office. Anyway, since I won't be at work all next week, I probably won't be near a computer. So this means that today I will do the last of my Christmas videos.
I know some of you on my flist mentioning how this commercial always makes you verklempt, so I thought I'd throw it in. That said, I haven't really paid attention to this in several years, so seeing Peter's parents holding up their coffee cups and excitedly going "Mmmmm!" in unison just cracked me up. Heh.
How can this NOT warm your heart?
This bit always makes me happy.

Last night I went to a sneak preview of National Treasure: Book of Secrets. The Scientist and his dad both love the first one, so they were totally amped to go. I was pretty "meh, it was entertaining, but I pretty much forgot it afterwards" about the first one, so I wasn't really excited about the second. However, it was entertaining. It's an action-adventure movie, so of course there are ginormous plot holes and ridiculously inconsistent behavior and such. But it was still entertaining. I went into the movie knowing absolutely nothing about the plot or who was in the movie, so color me excited when Helen Mirren showed up. Hooray! I love her. So yeah, watching her do anything can make me happy. Anyway, I'm not really sure if I'd actually recommend the movie, because a lot of it is just silly, but if you're looking to be easily entertained without having to think too hard, it's definitely fun for that.
