yakgirl just called, and it seems her mother-in-law was on the Today Show this morning for their "ambush makeover" segment. Check it out here. Holy crap, she looks great! I can't wait to see her again and congratulate her on her new look in person!

For the record, her name is pronounced "sharm," not "charm." It's short for Charmaine.
