eee1313Sometimes I think I should just go live in a hut in the wilderness somewhere, away from everyone and everything. All sorts of stuff is just annoying me to no end today. The Supreme Court stupidity, loud people in my office, good people not getting their dues, morons telling others not to give to Haiti relief, people I respect saying ridiculous things about the government, bloggers calling Christina Hendricks from Man Men "big," the list goes on and on. All of it is enough to make me want to shout "I'm done!", grab my husband and the cat, and go live on the side of a mountain somewhere, go off the grid, never deal with anyone else's shit again. Honestly.
And then I realize that I like things like a roof that doesn't leak, food and water on hand as needed, playing games on the PlayStation... Plus, despite my husband having mad survival skills (including bow hunting, wtf?) I would not do well in any environment that requires me to skin my own food. That, and there would be bugs.
That said, I'm wondering if I should revisit Walden, like my sister has been telling me to do...
