eee1313I haven't updated in a while. I'm going to make this quick, as I have A LOT of stuff to do today.
Things are going fine in my world. The baby's good, the husband's good, my job is fine, his job is good. Preparations for the holidays are coming along. I have all my shopping done, and there's a huge pile of presents downstairs that need wrapping. I absolutely love wrapping presents (don't ask me why, I don't know), and so today I'm going to try to put a dent in that pile. Of course, that will all depend on how much attention the baby wants/needs.
She's taken to scooting around the house on her butt, and recently she discovered the cat's water dish. I found her sticking her hands into the water and splashing. No good. At least she wasn't eating the cat food -- yet. I need to keep an eye on her when she's scooting around the kitchen. Oh, and regarding VEE, she qualified for PT but as she's making progress with the scooting and is trying to sit up, we thought we'd give her another 3 months to see how she'll do on her own. If nothing, then we'll call back to re-evaluate.
Anyway, back to all the stuff that needs doing. Thankfully the Christmas tree is up in the living room, and the lights are hung outside. We also have the usual lit garland running down our stairwell, and the stockings are hung. However, we do not have out my Christmas village. Due to minimal space this year, I'm only going to put out some of the village. But that's one more thing to do today. Oh, and laundry... Man, I need two of me today.
I also have to try to get a photo calendar finished for my mother-in-law for her birthday gift. I have a 30% off code that's good through tomorrow, so I should try to finish that off today. Yikes. So much to do!
But for now, I need to go wake up VEE, change her diaper, and then see if she'll take some milk. We're transitioning her off formula and onto real milk, so that should be interesting. After that, it's breakfast and then a bath for her. Again, busy day!
