It's 2:22 in the morning and I'm wide awake. There have been storms tonight, and those woke up the kid so she woke me up. Then my husband stole all the covers (for once, it's not me!) and then he kept coughing on the back of my head. Then I thought I smelled gas, so I got up to check the stove. The cat's still alive, so I'm guessing if CO poisoning hasn't killed her then it probably isn't there in the first place. But no matter what, it's annoying to be awake this time of night.
